About the Society
The Wibaux Historical Society is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of Wibaux and Wibaux County, Montana.
Our region sits along the eastern Montana border, where the history of the open range, the coming of the railroad, and the homestead era are still visible in the landscape. The Society works to keep that record intact and accessible — for residents, for descendants of early families, and for anyone researching the northern plains.
